Cadaver workshops give you real, in-depth, guided hands-on experience on whole cadavers.

Combined with the Prolotherapy: Getting to the Point modules, these master-level courses are the answer to how you can get started developing the three fundamental skills that make up the “how’s” of musculoskeletal medicine—landmark identification, needle handling and hitting the target. This course is appropriate for anyone who has a license to inject.

Get your practice in the lab, on whole cadavers, with the most experienced instructors in the world. Our 2 ½ day cadaver workshop:

• Gives you extensive, hands-on experience with experienced and knowledgeable instructors;
• Enables you to work on whole cadavers. Many workshops offer sessions with disarticulated body parts. Our workshops use only whole cadavers, giving you the big picture, and enabling you to work on multiple parts of the body;
• Provides you lots of time to work with the needle, supported by fluoroscope images and direct feedback;
• Includes your lodging and meals.

By the time you’ve completed the workshop, you will be ready to successfully treat patients in your office with confidence and precision.

Saturday, September 22

This time is for the development of a test for future evaluation of landmark and injection skills. There is no charge for participating in this segment and those who attend can participate or just observe in the project.

I am trying to develop a testing method for this complex subject. I visualize that we would create a list of landmark and target combinations. The person being tested would draw the combination out of a hat and then have about 2 to 3 minutes to draw or mark the landmark and then get the needle to the target on the cadaver.

The result would be recorded with fluoroscopy on an iPad or iPhone picture and timed. There will be no recorded scoring of the experience for this workshop.
